Connolly Expansion Joint Complete System

The Connolly Expansion Joint Complete System is a continuous pour solution for expansion joints in slab on ground applications.

The straight profile guarantees that the load is transferred through the dowels only.

Connolly Expansion Joints are a roll-formed galvanised steel section with 10mm cross-linked foam to provide a leave in place formwork that allows for joint expansion. The profile is fixed in place using the patented peg and wedge system.

The Expansion Joint profile has pre-formed holes which allow it to be used in conjunction with Connolly Universal Dowel Sleeves (UDS). The Universal Dowel Sleeves are installed in the steel section using the patented twist-fix feature.

Available in 3m lengths for slab thicknesses from 100mm to 200mm. Custom heights, lengths (up to 3m), and dowel configurations are available on request.

A wide range of permanent capping and rebate moulds are available to be used with Connolly Expansion Joints.

100mm System (EXJ10030):

• 1 x 100mm x 3.0m Expansion Joint
• 9 x R12 x 300mm galvanised Dowel Bars
• 9 x 12mm x 150mm Green Dowel Sleeves
• 1 x Pack of 4 pegs and wedges

Note: The 100mm joint is unique in that it will only accept the 12mm sleeves, the standard universal dowel sleeves will not lock into this joint.

125mm System (EXJ12530):

• 1 x 125mm x 3.0m Expansion Joint
• 7 x R16 x 450mm galvanised Dowel Bars
• 7 x 16mm x 225mm Purple Dowel Sleeves
• 1 x Pack of 4 pegs and wedges

Note: The dowels and sleeves can be changed out to suit any of the Connolly universal dowel sleeves 16, 20 & 24mm in both square and round sleeves.
